Fish and Chip Van Corporate Events
The Corporate Catering Option Your Team Will Actually Look Forward To
![]()
Sandwiches on a platter. Buffet trays going cold. A canteen that nobody’s excited about. Sound familiar? A fish and chip van for a corporate event does something different — it creates a moment. Staff stop, gather, talk, and genuinely enjoy their food. It’s a simple idea that lands better than almost any other catering format for company events.
At KK Catering, we’ve been delivering corporate fish and chip van hire across the UK since 2005. Our clients include Amazon, IKEA, DPD, Hilton Hotels, Marriott and Bidfood — and we bring exactly the same standards to every booking, whether it’s 30 people or 300.

Why Companies Choose a Fish and Chip Van
![]()
There’s a reason fish and chip vans have become one of the most requested formats for staff appreciation days, team lunches, and company celebrations. They work on every level — operationally, socially, and practically.
The van is entirely self-contained. We arrive, set up, cook, serve, and clear away. There’s nothing for your facilities or HR team to organise on the day beyond letting us know where to park. No venue kitchen required, no mains power needed, no catering equipment to hire.
And the social element is something you simply can’t manufacture with a buffet. People queue together, chat, laugh, and share the experience. It creates the kind of informal atmosphere that actually brings teams together — which is precisely the point of most company event catering.

When you’re catering for a major employer, the stakes are high. Food that’s late, cold, or poorly organised reflects badly on the people who booked it. That’s why companies like Amazon, IKEA, DPD, Hilton Hotels and Marriott come back to KK Catering time and again — because we understand that corporate catering isn’t just about the food, it’s about reliability, professionalism, and making the event organiser look good.
Our vans are punctual, our staff are presentable and friendly, and our food is cooked fresh throughout service. We’ve catered at distribution centres, office parks, manufacturing sites, hotels, and everything in between. Whatever the environment, we fit in seamlessly and get on with the job.
Multi-shift catering is something we handle regularly. If your site runs across shifts and you need the van to serve at different times — or across multiple days — we can accommodate that. Just let us know your requirements when you enquire and we’ll build a plan around your operation.

Work Celebration Event
Perfect for Every Type of Company Event
Whether you’re running a staff appreciation day, a summer party, a product launch, an open day, or a team-building event, a fish and chip van slots in perfectly. It works indoors and outdoors, on corporate campuses, in car parks, at hired venues, and at industrial sites.
Staff appreciation and reward days are our most common corporate booking. There’s nothing that says “thank you” quite like proper hot food, served with a smile, on a working day when the team least expects it.
Summer parties and end-of-year celebrations are a natural fit. The van becomes the centrepiece of the event — guests gather around it, the atmosphere builds naturally, and the food gives everyone a shared talking point.
Open days and client entertainment also work brilliantly. A fish and chip van is a memorable, characterful catering choice that stands out from the standard conference lunch — and it’s one that clients and visitors consistently comment on positively.

What’s on the Menu?
Our corporate fish and chip menu covers all the classics, cooked fresh on the van throughout service. Every portion is hot, crispy and ready to go — no heat lamps, no pre-cooked batches sitting around.
Classic sides and sauces: Curry sauce, gravy, chip shop mushy peas, salt and vinegar — everything that makes a proper chippy experience complete.
Dietary requirements are no problem. Our menu includes vegetarian options as standard, and we’re happy to discuss any specific requirements at the time of booking.
Frequently Asked Questions — Corporate Fish and Chip Van Hire
![]()
How many people can you cater for at a corporate event?
We regularly cater for corporate events ranging from small team lunches of 30 to large staff days of 300 or more. Whatever your headcount, we’ll plan the service window to make sure everyone is fed efficiently and without long waits.
How long does the service run for?
Our standard corporate service runs for 2 hours. If your event requires a longer window or multiple service periods across shifts, just let us know when you enquire and we’ll work around your schedule.
Can you cater across multiple shifts or days?
Yes. This is something we handle regularly for larger employers running 24/7 operations. We can plan the van to serve across different shift times, or return on consecutive days for extended events. Get in touch with your requirements and we’ll put together a plan.
Do you need mains power or a kitchen at our site?
No. Our vans are completely self-contained and require no mains power or venue kitchen whatsoever. All we need is a suitable space to park — roughly the equivalent of two parking bays — with reasonable vehicle access. We’re set up for industrial sites, car parks, office campuses, and everything in between.
How far in advance do we need to book?
As early as possible, particularly for popular dates like end-of-year parties and summer events. That said, we do accommodate last-minute corporate bookings where availability allows — it’s always worth getting in touch even if your date is close.
Do you have vegetarian and dietary options?
Yes. Vegetable burgers and Lincolnshire fishcakes are included on our standard menu alongside battered cod and pork sausage. If you have specific dietary requirements across your team, let us know at booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
